Administering Windows Server

This eight-day course is intended for Windows Server Hybrid Administrators who have experience working with Windows Server and want to extend the capabilities of their on-premises environments by combining on-premises and hybrid technologies. Windows Server Hybrid Administrators implement and manage on-premises and hybrid solutions such as identity, management, compute, networking, and storage in a Windows Server hybrid environment.

Kirjeldus

This course teaches IT Professionals how to manage core Windows Server workloads and services using on-premises, hybrid, and cloud technologies. The course covers implementing and managing on-premises and hybrid solutions, configuring advanced Windows Server services, leveraging Azure hybrid capabilities, migrating workloads to Azure IaaS, and securing Azure VMs. It also includes tasks related to high availability, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery.

Eesmärk

Windows Server Hybrid Administrators who already implement and manage on-premises core technologies want to secure and protect their environments, migrate virtual and physical workloads to Azure IaaS, enable a highly available, fully redundant environment, and perform monitoring and troubleshooting.

Sihtgrupp

Experience with managing Windows Server operating system and workloads, common Windows Server management tools, core Microsoft technologies, networking concepts, Hyper-V, Azure IaaS, Azure Active Directory, Windows client operating systems, and Windows PowerShell is required.

The course consists of two parts: AZ-800T00: Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure and AZ-801T00: Configuring Windows Server Hybrid Advanced Services. It covers a wide range of topics including administrative techniques, hybrid solutions implementation, identity services, network infrastructure, Azure VM deployment, security configuration, high availability, disaster recovery, migration scenarios, and monitoring.

After completing this course, students will be able to use administrative techniques and tools in Windows Server, implement identity services, manage network infrastructure, deploy Azure VMs, configure file servers, enhance security using Azure Security Center, implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions, plan and implement migration scenarios, and manage hybrid scenarios using various tools and technologies.
