Project management is an integral part of our daily lives, regardless of the field we work in. Whether it’s running a campaign, organizing a conference or company retreat, developing a new product or software solution, or introducing a new habit in our personal plans – project management requires a strategic approach, excellent time management skills, foresight, and agility to adapt to changes and account for the environment.
The goal of the Practical Project Management Training Program is to provide comprehensive knowledge and a universal toolkit for anyone who wants to feel confident in project management and achieve impactful results.
This programme is designed for anyone who needs project management skills – whether professionally or personally – and who wants to carry out projects more confidently, efficiently, and effectively. No prior (conscious) project management experience is required to participate in the course.
Please bring your own laptop to the training. If this is not possible, please contact us by email at info@koolitus.ee (no later than 3 working days before the start of the training).
This programme provides a clear understanding of what a project is, how to define its objectives, and how to plan its activities. It covers how to execute the plan within the available timeframe and given resources. The course also addresses common project challenges, how to prevent them, and how to summarise the project upon completion. After mastering the fundamentals, participants will enhance their toolbox with practical techniques to confidently apply their skills in real-life situations.
Participants will have comprehensive knowledge of project planning and execution; be able to define project briefs using the SMART method; be able to create a project activity and timeline, identify the critical path, and use Gantt Chart tools; understand the fundamentals of managing teams, time, and resources; know the most common challenges in project management and how to avoid them; be able to conduct basic risk analysis and mitigate risks; be able to use various project management tools based on the project's needs.
