Workshop: Advanced MS Excel

Each exercise includes sample files and instructions, and an experienced professional will be available in the classroom to provide guidance and assistance.
During the workshop, participants will gain access to sample files that can help them find solutions in future practical situations.

The training is intended for everyone who has already completed the MS Excel Advanced course, as well as those who have not yet attended the course but would like to independently find solutions to advanced-level MS Excel exercises.

Participants use their own computers during the workshop. Please let us know if you would like to use one of our computers

  • Creating formulas using data from different worksheets

  • Using absolute and relative references in formulas

  • Creating text formulas

  • Using functions (conditional, statistical and lookup functions)

  • Setting restrictions for data entry (Data Validation)

  • Advanced table formatting (Format Cells)

  • Using Conditional Formatting

  • Creating charts from different worksheets

  • Using Goal Seek

  • Protecting data

• Analysing tables

  • Freezing rows and columns

  • Printing a large table

  • Splitting and merging columns

  • Sorting

  • Filtering

  • Subtotals

  • Creating and modifying a PivotTable (from an Excel table)

Completion of the training: Upon request, participants who complete the workshop will receive a certificate of attendance.

Teaching methods: Classroom or online learning: 4 hours (including 4 hours of practical exercises in the learning environment).

Assessment method: Self-assessment.

Assessment criteria: Achievement of the learning outcomes is not assessed.
