Learning methods: The course is mixed, combining e-learning and webinars with the expert. You can participate in the webinars by joining through the Zoom online environment.

Number of online training days: 4 (webinars take place every last Friday of the month, 9:00-17:00).

Total Number of hours: 67.5 hours, including:

• 32 hours independent e-learning;

• 32 hours of face-to-face meeting with the lecturer;

• 3.5 hours for taking the examination.

Those who have completed the training:

• Understand the operations of an Information Security Management System based on ISO/IEC 27001

• Acknowledge the correlation between ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27002, and other standards and regulatory frameworks

• Understand an auditor’s role to plan, lead, and follow-up on a management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011

• Learn how to lead an audit and audit team

• Learn how to interpret the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001 in the context of an ISMS audit

• Acquire the competencies of an auditor to plan an audit, lead an audit, draft reports, and follow-up on an audit in compliance with ISO 19011

Graduation Criteria:
A graduate of the training receives a certificate if they pass the examination. Participants who have not achieved the learning outcomes will be issued a BCS Koolitus certificate of participation in the training upon request.

Assessment method: The course ends with an examination.

The “PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor” exam meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP).
